Once you have completed your registration, please read your Order Confirmation email and Receipt to make sure that you have been registered for the correct items BEFORE the start of the workshop.

Academic pricing will be offered. College Students, Teachers, Administrators and Staff of academic institutions (all grade levels) qualify. Proof in form of a academic ID or enrollment certificate needs to be presented at the workshop.

General Note:

* One-day security workshop registration fee cover all sessions, bonus activities and materials for March 19, 2012. Refreshments will be served, and lunch will be provided.

* Hands-on tutorial training fee cover all materials for March 20, 2012. Refreshments and lunch will be served.

* Registration payment can be made via credit card through the online registration. Registration at the door is only by cash with a copy of the email confirmation and invoice.

* Registration fees are per item. There is a separate item cost for each training course and the one-day security workshop.

* Registration fees do not include travel, lodging or parking validation. All delegates are responsible for making their own arrangements and any associated fees.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

* All cancellation requests must be received by completing Cancellation Request Form and sending to [email protected]. Cancellation requests received after Mar 10 will not be accepted and no refund will be issued. Refunds will be made for cancellations received by April 5, 2012, and are subject to a $30.00 processing fee.

* If you have erroneously registered twice for the same event (e.g. twice for the one-day security workshop or same training class), you must submit a Cancellation Request Form immediately and no later than March 10, 2012 or you will be responsible for the costs of both registrations.

* If you dont receive a confirmation of enrollment mail within 3 hours of your registration, please send a note to [email protected]. The Honeynet Project reserves the right to cancel your duplicate, unpaid registrations without notice.

* Anyone who is registered, but cannot attend may send a substitute. The name of the substitute, along with complete contact information, must be provided BEFORE March 15 by completing Substitution Request Form and sending to [email protected]

* Paid registrants who do not submit a Cancellation Request Form by March 10, 2012, fail to send a substitute by March 15, or do not attend the conference forfeit their entire registration fee.

* Individuals are responsible for canceling their own hotel and travel reservations. The Honeynet Project does not accept liability for hotel or travel costs.

* If you cancel and re-register, your new registration will reflect the current pricing as of the date of your final registration. Earlier registration pricing will not be honored.

* If you have already registered and paid your registration in full, you are not eligible for a discount if your organization also submits and qualifies for a group registration at a later date. You may cancel your registration minus the $30 registration fee by Mar 10, 2012 if you wish to partake in your organization's group registration. The Honeynet Project reserves the right to cancel your duplicate or unpaid registrations without notice.

One-day Security Workshop Policy:

Workshops offered on March 19, 2012 have limited seating in the rooms and are first come, first served.

Academic pricing will be offered. College Students, Teachers, Administrators and Staff of academic institutions (all grade levels) qualify. Proof in form of a academic ID or enrollment certificate needs to be presented at the workshop.

Training Class Policy:

If you find that you have been registered for the incorrect training class, you must contact us by March 10 in order for us to move you to the class you originally wanted to be in (space pending). We cannot move you to another class after Mar 10.

Each paid training class registrant will receive a CD containing training materials .

All fully paid training delegates will receive lunch and two coffee breaks services.

Training Certificates of Completion: you will receive a Training Certificate from The Honeynet Project once you finish the training course. If you do not receive a Training Certificate of Training, you must request your certificate no later than 48 hours after the end of March 20 or you will not receive one


All persons on the workshop venue or on training class must have a badge visible on their person at all times. Spouses, friends, peers, etc are not granted access to the show floor without a badge. If you wish for them to accompany you to any of events including breaks, workshop, lunch, reception or training coures, you must register them and pay the appropriate fees. Lost, misplaced, stolen, forgotten badges have to show validate ID to require a new badge on information desk.

Group Discount:

Group discounts are available for groups of 6 or more attendees registered and paid at the same time. Please email [email protected] to get group promote code or for more information. Group registration requests are not available after March 15, 2012.

Letters of Invitation:

If you require a Letter of Invitation to attend this event, you must send us a mail. Letters of Invitation are usually only required by foreigners who must obtain a VISA in order to attend the conference. All persons who require a Letter of Invitation to attend the conference must be registered and paid in full. Registrant have to cover additional fees for applying VISA.

Letters of Registration are only issued in the name of the registrant and will be sent via Fed Ex. All requests for a Letter of Invitation must be received no later than March 1, 2012. Letters of Invitation are only good for the person stated on the letter and will not allow an additional person or guest entrance to the conference. All additional persons must register and pay the required fees.
