Google's Summer of Code (GSoC) is an annual global program which offers students stipends to work on open source projects. The Honeynet Project has participated in GSoC since 2009 and so far this has been a great success for us, the participating students and the open source security community in general. If Google continue to select us as a mentoring organization, we look forward to continuing our GSoC participation in future years.
If you are interested in past results, you can kind find our sponsored projected and various project diaries since 2009 in the Google Summer of Code 2009, Google Summer of Code 2010, Google Summer of Code 2011, Google Summer of Code 2012 and Google Summer of Code 2013 sections of our public website.
If you are interested in participating in GSoC 2014, you can find information on our current GSoC project activity here, or view the official GSoC 2014 timeline for more information on the programme plus the milestone dates. We look forward to hopefully participating in GSoC and and working with more interesting international students again this year.
